We would like to reassure our customers that we are taking protective steps to ensure our customers and team members safety as the COVID-19 situation develops.

We are a dedicated team who not only puts our customers and our team members health first but also our community surrounding us.

We are ensuring that we are staying informed on the development of the situation and are following the advice and guidance from the government, World Health Organisation and from Greene King.

The King Stag already has very strict cleaning schedules in place including but not limited to the following;

    We are following a deep cleaning schedule twice a day.

    Throughout the day our staff members continue to sanitise surfaces including tables after each use, till systems, pdq machines, highchairs, door handles.

    We have disposable glasses/cups on site, please request one if you are more comfortable using these.

    Crockery and glassware are thoroughly cleaned with our glass and dishwasher machines on site which run at a high temperature designed to kill bacteria, we are also ensuring maintenance of these machines and checking the temperature regularly.

Our staff are updated on any developments and advise regularly and have been informed on best practice whilst at work from when the first cases of COVID-19 were identified in the UK.

Staff are also aware that we need to monitor our health and not coming onto The King Stags premises if they are displaying any flu-like symptoms or a temperature and to follow government guidelines on self-isolation.
When visiting The King Stag, we ask that our customers are also in good health.
